Rain’s Frosty Heart Begins To Melt As He Shares Kim Bum’s Body In “Ghost Doctor”

Even if we’re still stuck in the dead of winter, the ice in Rain’s heart has begun to thaw on “Ghost Doctor”!

Helmed by “Heirs” director Boo Sung Chul, “Ghost Doctor” is a new fantasy medical drama about two doctors who could not be more different in terms of their backgrounds, skills, or personalities, but who end up combining bodies and spirits. Rain stars as genius thoracic surgeon Cha Young Min, while Kim Bum plays silver-spoon resident Go Seung Tak.

On the previous episode of “Ghost Doctor,” Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak’s alliance temporarily came to a halt due to the two doctors’ bickering. However, they soon put their petty squabbling aside when both young patient Oh Seung Jo and the comatose motorcyclist who crashed into Cha Young Min during his accident pleaded with Go Seung Tak and Cha Young Min respectively for help.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak look serious as they fix their determined gazes on the same sight. Another photo captures Cha Young Min together with Oh Seung Jo, who previously expressed his dislike of the doctor before his accident—but is now smiling happily up at him. The sneak peek of the heartwarming moment raises the question of whether Oh Seung Jo has finally succeeded in melting the notoriously cold surgeon’s heart.

The producers of “Ghost Doctor” commented, “Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak, who have begun working together in earnest, will fall into step as they move together towards the same goal. Please look forward to finding out the first thing the doctors do after striking up their alliance, as well as their incredible chemistry.”

They went on to tease, “Additionally, a previously unknown fact about Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak that is certain to shock everyone will be revealed on today’s episode, so please look forward to it.”

The next episode of “Ghost Doctor” will air on January 18 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
