Lily Collins can finally feel the relief in the air tonight.
The Emily in Paris actress — and daughter of legendary music icon Phil Collins — revealed that she has been reunited with her engagement ring from husband Charlie McDowell at last.
“So grateful to @joethejewelerchicago for helping recover my original engagement ring after it was stolen almost three years ago,” Lily, 36, wrote via Instagram Stories on Friday, March 6. “Having this home means SO much to us. I’m still speechless it’s back on my finger.”
Both her engagement ring and wedding band, as well as some electronics, were taken while at The West Hollywood EDITION hotel’s spa back in May 2023. The Los Angeles County Sheriff investigated the theft, which was classified as over “$10,000,” but there was no sign of tampering where Lily’s belongings were stored during her spa visit.
Lily shared the happy news in a beaming selfie, resting her hand across her chest with the ring sparkling on her finger once again. The delicate and custom-designed piece features a rose-cut diamond set on a thin gold band. Wearing a simple brown tee and natural makeup, Collins looked overjoyed while also showing off her almond nails with nude polish.
She went on to show her appreciation to the jeweler in another slide.

“Check them out and show them some love! @joethejewelerchicago is a family-owned business located on Jewelers Row in Chicago, specializing in custom pieces and estate jewelry,” she wrote next to a photo from inside of the shop. “Thank you again so much!” The location offers custom jewelry design as well as estate and designer jewelry.
Lily and her now-husband, 42, got engaged during a trip to New Mexico in September 2020.
“In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life,” he wrote at the time in a post shared on social media. “I will forever cherish my adventure with you.”
The couple got hitched one year later during a romantic ceremony held in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado, and have since expanded their family.
Lily and her writer-director beau announced they welcomed their daughter, Tove Jane McDowell, via surrogate in January 2025.
“Welcome to the center of our world,” the lovebirds gushed over their bundle of joy in a joint Instagram post. “Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way.”
They added of their baby girl, “We love you to the moon and back again…”
