Jessi Ngatikaura got emotional while discussing her plastic surgery results.
Ngatikaura, 33, took to TikTok on Thursday, March 5, to get candid about her look after getting an upper and lower blepharoplasty and fat injections in her face. While doing press for season 4 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Ngatikaura shared that she was “rightfully so” getting hate comments about her appearance.
“I want to tell everyone that I am extremely unhappy with my results and I didn’t quite understand what I was getting into,” she shared. “I went in for a lower bleph and then I asked about an upper bleph and ended up getting that. Did not want that [fat] grafting, to be honest. I just listened to a suggestion [without] really understanding what it was, what it was going to do, what the results were gonna be, what the recovery was gonna be.”
Ngatikaura — who previously shared she spent $25,000 on her recent procedures — went on to say that she wished she hadn’t gotten the grafting in her face, which she was told would be a substitute for face fillers and would help “produce collagen” in the areas where she lost weight in her face.
“At the end of the day, I wished there had been more information,” she added. Ngatikaura noted that the grafting was also “put in [her] lips,” which she didn’t “ask for [and] didn’t want.”

“It’s made my lips really lumpy,” she explained. “I have one that dips. I’m getting a lot of comments about my lip filler, and I agree, it looks awful. My face looks terrible.”
Ngatikaura noted that she looked “more swollen” while filming the video because she got Kybella to try and remove “some of the fat” but explained that “grafting is extremely hard to remove in the face.”
Don’t know what’s going on with my nose with this filter.. but be kind ????????
“I’m really insecure,” she added through tears. “I understand that I look really different and I hate it. I look back at how I used to look [and] I watched season 4 and I’m like, ‘Damn. I looked really good.’ I wish I could have seen that. I’m gonna cry talking about it.”
Ngatikaura shared that she went “way too far” trying to tinker with her “insecurities” and has learned to “never touch” her face again — “outside of Botox.”
“I wish I saw my inner beauty,” Ngatikaura said. She also encouraged her fans to do more research before getting work done. “This last surgery ruined my life. I look f***ing hideous in season 5. It’s ruined my career.”
“Don’t know what’s going on with my nose with this [beauty] filter.. but be kind ????????,” Ngatikaura captioned the post. Her fans sent her loving messages in the comments section.
“Jessi please stop being mean to yourself you look amazing ???? I’m sorry others have you made you feel otherwise,” one wrote.
Her Mormon Wives costar Miranda McWhorter added, “Jessss???? i’m so proud of you for consistently being so transparent and authentic regardless of how you felt about the results. you are beautiful then and now. I love you ????.”
