Fresh off an appearance in Super Bowl LX, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and his wife, Ann Michael, are enjoying the World Baseball Classic.
The couple — currently on vacation in Japan — attended the Friday, March 6, game between Team Korea and Team Japan at the Tokyo Dome.
“New England royalty at the #WorldBaseballClassic,” posted MLB on social media, along with a photo of the couple enjoying the game. “Patriots QB Drake ‘Drake Maye’ Maye and Ann Michael Maye in the Tokyo Dome for Team Korea vs. Team Japan!”
Drake notably decided to wear a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball jersey to the game, much to the dismay of Boston Red Sox fans who are used to seeing Drake dutifully repping New England teams.
“Gotta get that man a new jersey!” commented one fan on MLB’s tweet.
“New England royalty wearing a Dodgers jersey ????” said another.
One fan edited the photo posted by MLB, swapping the Dodgers jersey with a Red Sox one.
Despite Drake’s Dodgers gear at the baseball game, his counterpart, Ann Michael, posted a selfie during their vacation, rocking a Red Sox hat and living up to the “New England royalty” label.

Drake, 23, and Ann Michael, 22, have been enjoying some “much needed” vacation time during the offseason, after the Patriots’ 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl on February 8.
“Not how we wanted it to end but still thanking God for this incredible season❤️,” Ann Michael wrote via Instagram on February 11. “We are blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people, who made this season what it was. This is only the beginning!!”
Ann Michael gained much notoriety during her husband’s run to the Super Bowl, both from her TikTok fans as well as NFL fans. Her baking videos on TikTok, for example, have become a fan favorite, and she has continued to keep followers entertained with her weekly ‘fit checks throughout the postseason.
At the Super Bowl, Ann Michael turned heads with a custom Drake jersey jacket, along with white studded pants and a matching handbag.
Ann Michael broke down the fit in a post via TikTok, crediting Kristin Juszczyk, fashion designer and wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk for the jacket.
“SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!!! GO PATS❤️????❤️????,” she captioned the post.
The couple met as young teenagers at the University of North Carolina. Drake proposed after he was drafted by the Patriots in 2024, and they were wed in June 2025, in a ceremony with family and close friends during the NFL offseason.
Drake — who just finished his second NFL season — led the Patriots to the Super Bowl for the first time since legendary former quarterback Tom Brady did so in 2019.
