Television reigns supreme in the second week of March 2026, with a heater lineup of new and returning shows.
Watch With Us is always on the ball for all the best things streaming, and we’ve got a roundup of this week’s newest content.
While new movies are in short supply this week, there are plenty of series to binge.
Our first recommendation is the return of Netflix‘s live-action One Piece, the adventure series based on the anime of the same name.
We also recommend the brand-new show Scarpetta on Prime Video, which stars Nicole Kidman as a forensic pathologist hunting down a serial killer.
‘One Piece’ Season 2 — NetflixOne Piece follows the adventures of the Straw Hat Pirates as they explore uncharted waters, unknown lands and all sorts of destinations in their fanciful world. At the same time, they search for the highly coveted “One Piece”: a bit of pirate treasure hidden by the former King of the Pirates, which will mark the ascendancy of the next Pirate King. Season 2 sees the Straw Hat Pirates traveling to the Grand Line, which boasts far tougher obstacles than they’ve ever faced before.
Netflix’s One Piece adaptation has been hailed as one of the best live-action remakes of any manga or anime, and it boasts an impressive 86 percent critics score and a 95 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. In addition to being faithful to the source material, the show features some excellent performances, humor, special effects and visual sensibilities. Even if you’re not familiar with the original anime, One Piece is an energetic and spirited action-adventure series.
Stream One Piece season 2 on March 10.
‘Scarpetta’ Season 1 — Amazon Prime VideoBased on Patricia Cornwell’s bestselling novels, Nicole Kidman stars as the titular Kay Scarpetta: a brilliant forensic pathologist trying to solve a grisly crime while dealing with the mental toll of her decades of investigative work. Scarpetta follows two timelines, one set in 1990s when Scarpetta is beginning her career as chief medical examiner, and a second in the present, during which she is attempting to unmask a serial killer who is leaving a bloody trail of bodies. Scarpetta is the first time Cornwell’s famous character has been adapted on any screen, big or small.
The eight-episode series has a stacked cast in addition to Kidman, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose and Bobby Cannavale. Cornwell first brought the character of Kay Scarpetta to life with 1990’s Postmortem, and since then Scarpetta has been the subject of 29 novels. As Kidman has built her career playing enigmatic women in mysterious circumstances, and Prime Video has a track record of adapting thriller novels, this feels like a natural fit.
‘Sunny Nights’ Season 1 — HuluWill Forte and D’Arcy Carden front this new crime comedy series that some are praising as the new Barry. Carden and Forte star as siblings Martin and Vicky Marvin, who attempt to start a spray tan empire in Sydney, Australia. As they try to get their business, “Tansform,” off the ground, they get involved in some shady dealings in order to kickstart their success. But one thing leads to another, and they’ve suddenly stumbled into the criminal underworld with a target on their back.
Early reviews of Sunny Nights are positive, with the show being praised for handling its absurd premise with the necessary amount of grit to give it high stakes, while also still being a really fun time. Forte and Carden have great chemistry, and the series finds a terrific primary villain in Rachel House (Thor: Ragnarok, Moana) as mob moss Mony. The supporting cast features Jessica De Gouw, George Mason and Ra Chapman.
Stream Sunny Nights on March 11.
‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 4 — HuluThe crazy Mormon gals from #MomTok are back and better than ever with more drama than ever before in their fourth season. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives sees the return of all primary cast members Taylor Frankie Paul, Whitney Leavitt, Demi Engemann, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Jen Affleck, Jessi Draper, Mikayla Matthews, and Miranda Hope. However, Demi has been butting heads with the group, which calls into question her future in the series past season 4. Meanwhile, Taylor gets The Bachelorette treatment, Jen and Whitney head to Dancing with the Stars, and chaos ensues.
Just when you think there can’t possibly be any more juice to squeeze from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, think again. There’s always plenty of craziness happening on #MomTok — but could it tear the group apart once and for all? We can’t wait to see what happens and what we might be able to expect in season 5 later this year.
Stream The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on March 12.
‘Rooster’ Season 1 — HBO MaxFrom comedy veteran Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso, Shrinking, Boy Meets World) comes this series starring Steve Carell as airport novelist Greg Russo. He finds himself caught up in the sexual and cultural politics of liberal arts school Ludlow, where his daughter, Katie (Charly Clive), teaches and where he’s been hired to teach writing courses. Suddenly, Greg becomes a popular fixture there (even hooking up with students), and it starts to strain his relationship with his daughter.
Carell has been sorely missed from being in a genuinely good comedy show the past few years, and it looks like Rooster finally gives him that. The show also manages to play up some of Carell’s Michael Scott past by having him play a character who is unintentionally offensive. Rooster does embrace a strange mix of prestige drama and comedy that sometimes feels at odds, but it’s ultimately a solid milieu for some top comedic and dramatic work from Carell.
