Anna Camp has come out as bisexual amid her relationship with Jade Whipkey.
“As a 43-year-old woman, I am very proud of myself for owning my sexuality at this age,” Camp, 43, said in a clip from the “I’ve Never Said This Before With Tommy DiDario” podcast shared by People on Monday, March 9. “I am a very strong person for doing it in somewhat of a spotlight with people criticizing and judging and making assumptions. I’m really proud to be bisexual.”
Camp said she is experiencing “a major evolution in my 40s and not being afraid of it,” adding, “Sure, there are times I feel like I am taking a risk and this is scary and I’m doing it in a public forum. But to say, ‘No, I only get one life and I want to be happy,’ that’s what life is all about.”
Prior to her relationship with Whipkey, 24, Camp was married to her first husband, Michael Mosley, from 2010 to 2013. She wed Pitch Perfect costar Skylar Astin in 2016. They separated in 2019, and their divorce was finalized later that year.
“You think you’ve got this idea of who you are and that’s how your life is going to go,” she said in the podcast clip. “And that’s happened to me several times in my life, where I thought that I knew what was happening. And it could have stopped in that way. I could have settled. I could have said, ‘No, I’m done evolving.’”
Camp said that she hopes “to continue to evolve and to learn” in this new era of her life.
The You actress and Whipkey first sparked dating rumors in February 2025 when the pair were seen in a TikTok video interview discussing their worst date stories.
“Well, I don’t expect anything anymore because I like women and it’s great,” Camp said in the clip.
Whipkey began leaving flirty comments under Camp’s Instagram posts that same month.
The Pitch Perfect actress and the celebrity stylist packed on the PDA during a May 2025 outing in Los Angeles in photos obtained by Us Weekly. One month later, they made their red carpet debut at the L.A. premiere of Camp’s film Bride Hard.
After the outlet Pink News shared a clip from Camp and Whipkey’s red carpet debut via Instagram in June 2025, Camp responded to critics of her and Whipkey’s 19-year age gap.
“Thought I’d jump on here since I follow @pinknews and just say I’ve dated men exactly my age and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them,” Camp commented underneath the post. “We have more in common than anyone else I’ve ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything ♥️ Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I’m wishing everyone well ???? Especially this Pride month ????.”
