It’s been nearly two months since Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke announced their split, so where do the exes stand now?
Cooke, 43, and Batula, 34, are “on good terms,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, noting that the estranged couple “are friendly.”
The Summer House costars “communicate often about the dogs,” the insider adds. Cooke and Batula share two pups, Reese and Ryder.
“They both have custody of the dogs and trade off,” the source explains.
While Cooke and Batula didn’t announce their breakup until January, the insider tells Us, “Amanda had been mentally checked out of the marriage for a very long time.”
Batula’s headspace before their official separation is “why they’re able to be in a relatively friendly place right now,” the source says.
Although the pair are living separate lives, they have yet to file for divorce. When the time comes and the legal paperwork is filed, a second insider tells Us that both Cooke and Batula “want to keep a divorce amicable and keep it very mature.”

Cooke and Batula’s relationship has been in the spotlight since its start, which was captured on season 1 of Summer House. The former couple met in summer 2015 and when the show premiered in January 2017, their romance was front and center.
Throughout the Bravo series, fans have witnessed the ups and downs of Cooke and Batula’s dynamic, including Cooke’s 2018 confession to cheating on his then-girlfriend while blackout drunk.
Batula ultimately forgave Cooke for his indiscretion and Cooke proposed in September of that same year.
The pair tied the knot in September 2021 in Batula’s family’s backyard in New Jersey.
Once married, the duo weathered a few more storms, including disagreeing on when they wanted to start a family and Cooke’s choice to become a DJ.
Rumors surfaced in fall 2025 that Cooke and Batula hit a rough spot in their marriage, but they put on a united front during BravoCon that November.
Two months later, the reality stars released a joint statement announcing their split after four years of marriage.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” Batula and Cooke said in a January 19 Instagram post. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”

The following month, season 10 of Summer House premiered and the cracks in Cooke and Batula’s marriage became even more evident.
Since their split, however, both Cooke and Batula have been publicly supportive of one another.
Batula, for her part, has already talked about finding a new man — but insisted it won’t be someone in the Summer House cast.
“I’m not touching any of my cast members,” Batula said during an appearance on the Monday, March 9, episode of the “Trading Secrets” podcast. “Love them dearly, but I’m good.”
She laughed at the thought of dating costar Jesse Solomon, noting that fans have “mixed opinions” on whether they should get together. Batula confirmed, “It’s not going to happen.”
Batula has also been rumored to be hooking up with castmate West Wilson — who previously dated one of her close friends Ciara Miller — but a source told Us on Tuesday, March 10, that is not the case.
“She is going out with friends,” the insider said, denying speculation she has been romantically involved with West, 31, since her split from Cooke.
Cooke, for his part, is “leaning into the single life and having fun,” the source told Us, noting that the Loverboy founder “hasn’t been seriously dating” either.
