Cassie and her husband, Alex Fine, have shared first photos of their third baby months before his first birthday.
“I love you best friend,” Cassie, 39, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, March 12, sharing a throwback pic of Fine cuddling the infant, whose name has not been publicly revealed. “Happy birthday.”
Fine, who reposted Cassie’s tribute, also uploaded a pic of their daughters Frankie, 7, and Sunny, 3, with their faces covered with emojis.
“Best birthday I could ask for with the gang,” Fine, 33, wrote via his page.
News broke on May 28, 2025, that Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura) gave birth less than two weeks after testifying in ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial.
Diddy, now 56, stood trial for charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied all accusations and pleaded not guilty. He was found guilty of two counts of transportation and acquitted on the remaining charges and is now serving a four-year prison sentence.
Cassie, who dated Diddy on and off for 11 years until their final split in 2018, testified about the nature of their relationship. In a 2023 lawsuit, Cassie previously claimed that she was sexually assaulted and physically abused by Diddy. (He denied the allegations before they settled out of court within a day.)

The “Me & U” singer announced in February 2025 that she and Fine, whom she married one year after breaking up with Diddy, were expecting their third baby. Cassie and Fine previously welcomed daughters Frankie and Sunny in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
Weeks later, Cassie confirmed that she and the MobLand actor were expecting a baby boy.
“There aren’t words to describe how grateful I am that I get to do this life with you! The laughter and pure joy that I get to experience with you is beyond any of my dreams and manifestations,” Cassie wrote via Instagram in March 2025. “You’ve taken care of me and my heart like no other, you’re hands down the best girl dad and I’m SO excited to see you now become a father to OUR SON!”
Fine replied, writing, “The best mom, wife and best friend. [I] love you sooo much.”
Fine was also steadfast by Cassie’s side during her witness testimony.
“Over the past five days, the world has gotten to witness the strength and bravery of my wife freeing herself of her past,” Fine said in a statement shared in May 2025. “There has been speculation online surrounding how it must feel for me to sit there and listen to my wife’s testimony. I have felt so many things sitting there. I have felt tremendous pride and overwhelming love for Cass. I have felt profound anger that she has been subjected to sitting in front of a person who tried to break her.”
He continued, “So to him and all of those who helped him along the way, please know this. You did not. You did not break her spirit, nor her smile, [which] lights up every room. You did not break the soul of a mother who gives the best hugs and plays the silliest games with our little girls. You did not break the woman who has made me a better man.”
