Harry Styles is putting his health first.
After years of grueling world tours, the “Aperture” singer, 32, is bringing his Together, Together show to only seven cities this year — a decision he made intentionally.
“Harry approached this project and tour very mindfully,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly after the March 6 release of Styles’ fourth solo album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. “By doing multi-night residencies, there is less travel and less burnout.”
Two insiders confirm the Grammy winner “will likely add more dates” to Together, Together in 2027, but the first source notes that he is “approaching this [leg of the tour] in a way that feels healthy for him.”
“For Harry, the past couple of years have been about slowing down, stepping back and finding peace,” the insider tells Us. “He really treasured that time and the sense of privacy and normalcy. He is coming into this tour knowing what works for him. He is incredibly emotionally mature and is constantly working on himself.”
The source adds that Styles’ girlfriend, Zoë Kravitz, whom he has been dating since last summer, is “very supportive” of both his career and well-being.
“That’s a big part of why their relationship works,” the insider says.
Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Styles and Kravitz for comment.
The “Watermelon Sugar” singer rose to fame in 2010 as a member of One Direction, with whom he spent the better part of five years touring the world and playing stadiums. After the boy band’s 2016 split, Styles began releasing music on his own in 2017. His first solo outing, Live on Tour, included 89 shows in approximately 10 months, while his second, Love on Tour, featured a whopping 169 dates in less than two years.
“Over the years, I had to say no to everything I was invited to,” he recently told Runner’s World while reflecting on his busy schedule, “whether it was a friend’s birthday, a trip somewhere amazing, an opening.”
However, taking some time off to travel, party and enjoy other people’s art ultimately inspired Styles to record Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
“Good electronic music is so good, you know — especially the melodic aspect. When you’re out at night, it’s such a community, but you’re also watching people have such individual experiences,” he explained to the magazine. “I wanted to recreate [what] I had on the dance floor, being lost in instrumentation and the musicality. It was so immersive. Like, this is how I want to feel when I’m on stage too. I don’t want it to feel like a sermon I’m delivering. I wanted it to feel like, ‘Oh, we’re in this music together. Like, I’m in it with you.'”
Together, Together is scheduled to kick off at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam in May. The tour also includes a 12-night residency at Wembley Stadium in London and 30 shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City, in addition to stops in São Paulo, Mexico City, Sydney and Melbourne, Australia.
