Jenna Dewan is looking back on her sexy collaboration with Christina Aguilera.
Dewan, 45, was asked about her favorite memory from filming Aguilera’s 2010 music video for her song “Not Myself Tonight” during her Thursday, March 12, appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
“That was really funny because I did not know what I was getting myself into,” the actress said. “I showed up to film this video, which I thought I was dancing, but I thought it was — I don’t know what I was doing. But I was like, ‘Sure, I’ll work with Christina!’”
Dewan said that when she arrived on set, she was handed a lingerie set.
“They were like, ‘Here’s your bra, here’s your underwear, and you guys are making out,’” she continued.
“I had a moment of, like, ‘Do I? OK!’” Dewan recalled, shrugging her shoulders. “I went for it, and it was really fun. We had a lot of fun.”
Dewan quipped that Aguilera, 45, is a “great kisser.”
Jennifer Tilly, who also appeared on Tuesday night’s episode, asked if Aguilera is a “better kisser” than Dewan’s “costar,” seemingly referring to Nathan Fillion, who plays her character’s husband on ABC drama The Rookie.
“Not better. They’re different,” Dewan responded.
Aguilera’s famous S&M-themed music video saw Dewan dressed in a black lingerie set and tied up by her hands as the pop star, also dressed in lingerie, caressed Dewan’s body and kissed her.
“I used to dance with her — I only did a couple shows with her, right before Stripped and the ‘Dirrty’ video — around that time,” Dewan told Just Jared of the music video in 2010. “I’m a fan of what she did with Back to Basics, that whole album and her look in that. Those were my favorites. Very retro — very her. She’s the tiniest person I’ve ever met in my life. I’ve never met anyone in my life littler than she is. She’s got this tiny little hourglass figure and that worked for that retro look!”
Dewan added, “I think [Aguilera] looks beautiful. I think the video’s really sexy and fun and it’s meant to get people talking. And I think everyone draws comparisons from artists but she’s definitely her own, unique artist. She’s been around for over ten years and I really like it. I’m proud of that video.”
As a dancer, Dewan has worked with countless stars, including Janet Jackson, Pink, Missy Elliott and more. During her WWHL appearance, the Resident alum revealed there’s one star she’d love to work with in the future: Madonna.
“I always wanted to work with, dance with, Madonna,” she said.
