Demi Moore did not come to play with her red carpet look at the 2026 Oscars.
Stylist Brad Goreski put the 63-year-old actress in black and green custom Gucci gown for the 98th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, March 15.
Moore “wanted to wear something that was a work of art, something that was dramatic and super elegant,” Goreski, 48, texted Zanna Roberts Rassi during the E! Live From the Red Carpet broadcast on Sunday — and she totally delivered.
The formfitting gown had green scale-like metallic detailing on the torso, which transformed into black feathers. Moore drifted down the carpet with ease, despite her feathered train.
Moore also kept it simple in the beauty department, letting her signature dark hair lay straight. She paired the gown with silver jewels. Her earrings were adorned with an emerald stone to match her dress.

Moore’s Oscars appearance on Sunday comes after her surprising loss last year. The actress scored her first-ever nomination for the Best Actress in a Leading Role category after playing Elisabeth Sparkle in The Substance.
“Being nominated for an Oscar is an incredible honor and these last few months have been beyond my wildest dreams,” Moore said in a January 2025 statement to Us after nominations were announced. “Truly there are no words to fully express my joy and overwhelming gratitude for this recognition. Not only for me but for what this film represents. I am deeply humbled.”
When the big night came, Moore lost to Mikey Madison, who took home the trophy for Anora.
Moore kept it cool after her loss and ate her feelings while cuddling with her dog, Pilaf.
“MY winner ????,” Moore’s daughter Tallulah Willis captioned an Instagram post after the 2025 Oscars, showing her mom in a robe eating two giant bowls of french fries.
Moore later revealed that she knew Madison, 26, was going to secure the win.
“I leaned over and whispered to my manager, ‘I think it’s going to Mikey,’” she recalled during an April 2025 interview with Time. “I don’t know why I knew, but I did. I was so centered and calm. I didn’t feel gutted. I didn’t feel any of those kinds of things. I just trusted, and am in trust of, whatever is going to unfold.”
