Timothée Chalamet walked the 2026 Oscars red carpet without girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
The actor, 30, opted for an all-white suit, white boots and black sunglasses as he arrived at the Sunday, March 15, Academy Awards ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. While Jenner, 28, was absent from the carpet, she was seen sitting next to Chalamet inside the venue during the opening monologue in a red Schiaparelli gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Chalamet is nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Marty Supreme. His fellow nominees in the category include Leonardo DiCaprio for One Battle After Another, Ethan Hawke for Blue Moon, Michael B. Jordan for Sinners and Wagner Moura for The Secret Agent.
Chalamet also received a nod for Best Picture for his work as a producer on Marty Supreme alongside Eli Bush, Ronald Bronstein, Josh Safdie and Anthony Katagas. The other films in contention for the accolade are Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, One Battle After Another, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, Sinners and Train Dreams.
If Chalamet earns either award he is nominated for on Sunday night, he will become a first-time Oscar winner. In years past, he received two Academy Award nods for best actor for Call My by Your Name in 2018 and A Complete Unknown in 2025.
Jenner has served as Chalamet’s support system throughout the 2026 awards season.
In January, Chalamet shared a heartfelt personal message to Jenner during his best actor acceptance speech at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards.
“Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation,” he gushed. “I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Later that month, Jenner joined Chalamet at the 2026 Golden Globes. Despite skipping the red carpet, her presence was felt throughout the show as he expressed his “love” for her in his acceptance speech for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy.
After showing PDA with Chalamet at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards in February, Jenner opted not to attend SAG’s Actor Awards earlier this month, with Chalamet bringing his mom as his date instead.
The couple’s awards season outings come amid a pivotal point in their relationship, which began in 2023. As Us Weekly reported in January, Chalamet and Jenner “are very serious and have talked about getting engaged this year.”
Although the pair have maintained relative privacy when it comes to their romance, a source previously shared what their dynamic is like outside of the spotlight.
“Kylie has never dated someone like him, and it’s been refreshing because they have a very easy, chill relationship,” the insider told Us in January. “They basically live together at this point. Kylie will stay at his house when she doesn’t have the kids or when she wants to be in the city, and he spends a lot of time at her house.”
Days before the Oscars, Jenner — who shares daughter Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4, with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott — hinted at what her future with Chalamet holds.
“In the last years of my 20s, I want to focus on just me, my businesses, my work, traveling with my kids, enjoying my kids and then …” she said in a Vanity Fair cover story published on Wednesday, March 11. “I do want to have more kids …”
In a November 2025 interview with Vogue, Chalamet teased his own hopes of becoming a father, telling the outlet at the time, “That could be on the radar.”
