On Netflix, two major premieres hit this week: the streaming premiere of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man and the highly anticipated live concert return of BTS in BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG.

The story of Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) continues in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. Shelby, who has been living in self-imposed exile in a rural cottage while writing a novel, is still haunted by the ghost of his deceased daughter. But when his estranged son, Erasmus (Barry Keoghan), gets involved in a Nazi plot, Shelby makes his grand return to Birmingham to save both his family and the soul of his country.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is a gripping continuation of the story started in Steven Knight‘s acclaimed series that manages to end the saga satisfyingly while succeeding as its own self-contained film. The movie boasts style, verve and swagger, and a top-notch performance from Murphy, in his first major role since his Oscar-winning performance in Oppenheimer. Even if you’re not a fan of the series, the movie works as a well-produced period drama on its own.

‘Imperfect Women’ Season 1 — Apple TVImperfect Women stars Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington and Kate Mara as three best friends whose lives are altered forever after a shocking death. As we learn more about their relationship, we come to discover the secrets, lies and betrayals that have existed as the foundation of their friendship for years, and how such devastating imperfections (no pun intended) led to the violence and tragedy that would befall them later in life.
If you’re a fan of shows like The Better Sister and The Beast in Me, be sure to check out Imperfect Women — another domestic thriller about the facade of wealth and the perfect life. While the show isn’t out to reinvent the wheel, it’s a perfect comfort watch for those who love pulpy mysteries and escalating interpersonal drama about best friends who have a lot of secrets; think Harlan Coben, or any one of the million Prime Video series starring Nicole Kidman.

‘The Comeback’ Season 3 — HBO MaxAfter it premiered in 2005, cult hit Hollywood satire The Comeback made its first comeback with a second season nearly a decade later in 2014, and has now made yet another comeback with a third (and final, for real) season over a decade later. Lisa Kudrow‘s Valerie Cherish finally enters the streaming, podcasting and AI era of the entertainment business, and the two-episode premiere at SXSW received a fawning reception from its audience. Ultimately, we need Valerie Cherish now more than ever.
The premise of the show initially follows Cherish, a B-list television star from the short-lived sitcom I’m It! that ran from 1989 to 1993. However, she failed to find fame after the show ended, and subsequently left the business altogether for a decade. Then, in 2005, Valerie’s fortunes change with a recurring role in the new sitcom Room and Bored, and she decides to have her experience chronicled in a documentary called The Comeback.

‘BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG’ (2026) — NetflixValerie Cherish isn’t the only one making a comeback this week. BTS, having finally completed their mandatory military service in South Korea, are set to make their grand reunion with a live concert at the historic Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG will see the world phenom K-Pop boyband — consisting of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook — take center stage to perform songs off their forthcoming album ARIRANG in addition to their old hits.
We’re confident that BTS is about to put on an amazing show for us this week, but BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG isn’t the only thing we’re gonna get from them. One week after the live concert, Netflix will also debut the documentary film BTS: THE RETURN, chronicling BTS’ return to making music and recording their album following their military service. If you’re a BTS fan, you shouldn’t make any plans for the next two weeks.

‘Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat’ Season 2 — Prime Video
After Jury Duty’s Ronald Gladden charmed audiences everywhere back in 2023, the hit Prime Video prank show returns, but with an all-new location and unsuspecting non-actor. Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat moves from a fake trial to a fake company retreat, in which a temp worker named Anthony is tasked with helping to execute the trip. Chaos will surely ensue as a gaggle of weirdo employees is forced to be in close quarters together for an extended period of time. Of course, Anthony is the only person who doesn’t know it’s all staged.
This second season of Jury Duty looks to be an absolute laugh riot, and we can’t wait for the premiere on Prime Video this Friday. If you’re not familiar with the show, now is the perfect time to catch up. The award-winning first season followed the inner workings of the American justice system, as Gladden was subjected to a court proceeding he had no idea was fake, with actor James Marsden playing a fictionalized version of himself as a fellow juror.
