Meghan Markle gave a rare glimpse of what life looks like for her kids on her farm.
Meghan, 44, took to Instagram on Monday, March 16, to share sweet memories on her farm with Prince Harry and their daughter, Princess Lilibet. In one snap, Lilibet, 4, walked up to two chickens and gave them a pat on their backs. She wore a purple fuzzy jacket, striped pants and pink, blue and green rain boots.
In another snap, Meghan — who also shares son Archie, 6, with the prince — showed off freshly cut flowers from her garden while Harry, 41, filmed her.
“It’s beautiful,” he gushed while she adjusted the flowers in a vase. “It’s so pretty and pink.” Meghan then shared a zoomed-in pic of her flowers, which featured a mix of hydrangea, peonies and more.
Meghan concluded her stories by flipping through a poetry book, They Bloom Because of You: On the Infinite Love, Growth and Magic of Motherhood, by Jessica Urlichs.
Earlier this month, Meghan shared another rare photo of her kissing Lilibet while celebrating International Women’s Day. “For the woman she will one day be,” Meghan captioned a pic of herself snuggling up with Lilibet on a beach. “Happy International Women’s Day.” She also shared that the pic was taken by “Papa Sussex.”

Throughout the years, Meghan and Harry have given updates about their life in Montecito, California, where they moved after stepping down from their duties as senior working royals in 2020.
Meghan told New York Magazine’s The Cut in 2022 that the house kept “popping up online in searches” while touring the area.

“We didn’t have jobs, so we just were not going to come and see this house. It wasn’t possible,” she shared. “It’s like when I was younger and you’re window shopping. It’s like, ‘I don’t want to go and look at all the things that I can’t afford. That doesn’t feel good.’”
After deciding to see the house anyway, Meghan and Harry fell in love with the place. “One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees,” she recalled. “They’re connected at the bottom. He goes, ‘My love, it’s us.’ And now every day when Archie goes by us, he says, ‘Hi, Momma. Hi, Papa.’”
Meghan also gushed that the community welcomed her and her family with open arms. In 2025, she told People, “Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is.”
