NFL superstars Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady have found themselves in another round of friendly competition.
On Saturday, March 21, the Super Bowl champions will find themselves hosting two separate flag football tournaments in Southern California.
At BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, Brady, 48, will join Fanatics, OBB Media and Fox Sports in hosting the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
Nearly 60 miles south, Rodgers, 42, will help bring the RX3 Charity Flag Football event to life at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California.
Each event is bringing out serious star power and even a little friendly competition between the organizations.
“We love seeing flag football having a moment right now, especially with LA28 on the horizon,” Nate Raabe, cofounder and managing partner at RX3 Growth Partners, shared with Us Weekly before game day. “The main difference with our [event] is that our quarterbacks aren’t showing up for a paycheck. They’re showing up for a cause. Every quarterback and team sponsor in our tournament is playing for a charity they’ve chosen.”

How Are the Team USA Flag Football Teams Involved? As excitement continues to build for the 2028 Summer Olympics to introduce the sport of flag football for the first time, both Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are making sure Team USA is represented at their respective events.
Brady’s competition will include three 12-player teams: two composed of a mix of current and former NFL stars and elite global athletes, and the third represented by USA Football’s reigning IFAF Flag Football World Champion U.S. Men’s National Team.
“Having Team USA as the third team in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic elevates the already world-class talent participating in this tournament,” Brady previously shared in a statement. “I’m fired up to see how these teams stack up, and the fact that we’ll be playing in the same stadium that will host flag football during the Olympics will show the world a preview of what’s to come in 2028. But I’m not coming back to the football field to lose. That’s for damn sure.”
At Rodgers’ event, one of the teams is made up of Team USA’s female flag football players, RX3 cofounder Nate Raabe confirmed.
The Fanatics Flag Football Classic will air live on Fox Sports, Fox One and Tubi on Saturday, March 21, at 4 p.m. ET. The event will also be streamed internationally on the Fanatics YouTube channel.
Tickets are also available for purchase online and range from the $35 range to upwards of $100.
Although Aaron Rodgers’ event will not be televised, general admission tickets can be purchased for $50. Event organizers say families, local organizations and fans are encouraged to attend and promised a community-first experience with fans and kids able to interact with their favorite players.
