Selling the OC’s favorite British realtor Polly Brindle is no longer part of the Oppenheim Group as the show’s future remains up in the air.
“The end of an era!” Polly, 40, began her Instagram statement on Wednesday, April 22, announcing her departure from the Orange County-based real estate agency. “The last 5 years has been quite the ride, from walking into the still under construction office whilst I was studying to get my license to ringing the bell for the final time as an Ogroup girlie celebrating my birthday with my friends and colleagues who have turned into family.”
Polly noted that having her real estate journey “shared to the world for over four seasons” on Selling the OC “wasn’t planned,” but she “couldn’t have imagined a more fun roller coaster.”
“I am eternally grateful for this experience and all the lifers I have met along the way, special mention goes to @jasonoppenheim and @justin_itzen for their trust in me as a new agent,” she continued. “Their guidance and support but most of all, their friendship and embracing me into the family.”
Polly insisted that this isn’t the last fans will hear from her — at least when it comes to real estate.
“I’m SO excited for my next chapter and can’t wait to share more with you all very soon! (I’m only just getting started ????????),” she concluded. “But for now, thank you @theoppenheimgroup for the best start to a real estate career a girl could have asked for ???? ????????#endofanera #cheerstonewbigthings #bittersweet.”
Polly, who is an original cast member of Selling the OC, shared a series of photos from her time on the Netflix series. She also sprinkled in pictures of some of her best memories working for twin brothers Jason Oppenheim and Brett Oppenheim’s agency located in Corona Del Mar, California.
“Love you always, excited and proud of you, and you are forever a part of our Ogroup fam ????????????????,” Jason, 49, wrote in the comments section.
Austin Victoria, who is an OG member of the show, added, “Love you Polly, was a good ride ❤️.”
Lauren Shortt, who left the Oppenheim Group in February 2025, replied, “What a run ???????? love you for life.”
Polly’s departure from the Oppenheim Group comes amid Selling the OC’s hiatus. Season 4 of the series premiered on Netflix in November 2025.
The network has yet to announce whether it will return for season 5, but star Gio Helou weighed in on the rumors it was cancelled earlier this month. “We are not officially on the chopping block, but we are on an indefinite pause. So I think you can read in between the lines there,” he said in an Instagram video.
Alex Hall, who narrates the series, exclusively told Us Weekly on April 11 that they “don’t even really know” what’s happening.

“We know that we’re not filming season 5 right now,” Alex, 37, explained. “There is some stuff in the works that we aren’t allowed to talk about just yet.”
She noted that if it’s the end, she feels like the cast “went out with a bang.”
