Aspyn Ovard isn’t planning to show her kids on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.
Aspyn, 30, responded to a fan’s comment asking if she’s planning to include her kids’ faces on the upcoming Hulu series via TikTok on Thursday, April 24. “How are you going to manage protecting your privacy and especially your kids on this show?” they questioned the influencer.
Aspyn, who keeps her kids’ faces offline, replied in another TikTok, “I will not be sharing my kids on the show — I don’t really share them in my content.”
“I will maybe blur them out if they’re in my shot or post the back of their heads, or sometimes they’re around when I’m filming some of my stuff, but you’re still not gonna see my actual kids,” Aspyn explained.
She went on to say that she’s aware reality TV requires people to share their lives, but she’s still planning to keep her kids’ faces private.
“I wish I could put this baby on TV,” she said while looking at her child off-screen. “You would be so famous because you’re so cute!”
Aspyn went on to say that she’s planning to be “so genuine” on the show and open up more about herself. “I think this will be so healing for me to just have it all out there,” she said.
Replying to @Ariel I always knew I couldn’t keep living this way forever but wasn’t sure how I’d ever share ❤️????
“There’s no way to know for sure. Its definitely scary. I just know that I can’t go on this way forever with what I’ve been doing,” she teased. “With this opportunity coming up, it’s like, maybe instead of me having to produce my own life, I just literally am like, I do not have that in me. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to share [or] be authentic.”
Aspyn added that she feels like it will be “good” for her to share what she’s been going through for the “past few years.”
“I always knew I couldn’t keep living this way forever but wasn’t sure how I’d ever share ❤️????,” Aspyn captioned the video. Her fans shared their thoughts in the comments section.
“Layla [Taylor] doesn’t share her kids, idk why people are even questioning if it would be an issue,” one wrote, referencing the original show’s cast. Another added, “I don’t get why this is such a big deal. I mean Macyi [Neely] doesn’t show her kids faces and it works perfectly for her.” A third shared their excitement to watch the series, “So watch the show to get the tea.”
Aspyn shares daughters Cove, 6, Lola, 4, and Elle, 2, with ex-husband Parker Ferris. Following her divorce, she publicly came out as queer and is now dating Bri Davis. Aspyn is no longer a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
