Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith reunited to spend time with their daughter.
Banderas, 65, took to Instagram on Monday, April 27, to share a family photo. In the pic, Banderas beamed while wearing a white T-shirt and matching pants. He leaned against his daughter, Stella, 29, who threw her head back laughing.
Stella and Griffith, 68, held hands in the pic. The actress coordinated with Banderas in a white tee and styled her top with wide-leg blue jeans and a denim jacket.
Next to Griffith sat Stella’s husband, Alex Gruszynski, who rested his head on Griffith’s shoulder and gave the camera a smile.
“A lovely and fun moment yesterday in Los Angeles with my son-in-law Alex, my daughter Stella, and my ex-wife and lifelong friend, Melanie,” Banderas captioned the photo.
The Spy Kids star’s celebrity friends and fans gushed over the moment in the comments section. “Lovely sight ❤️????,” Trudie Styler wrote. A fan added, “Beautiful family!! ????????????????,” while another follower commented, “Beautiful family full of love ????????????????????????.”
Banderas and Griffith were married from May 1996 to December 2025.
The pair first crossed paths at the 1989 Oscars and reconnected while filming Two Much in 1995. The following year, Banderas and Griffith tied the knot and welcomed Stella.
In 2014, Griffith filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was finalized the following year.
Although they are no longer romantically involved, the duo have maintained a close friendship. Banderas is also still close with Griffith’s daughter Dakota Johnson, whom she shares with ex-husband Don Johnson. Griffith is also the mom of Alexander Bauer, whom she shares with ex-husband Steven Bauer, as well as the stepmom to Don’s son Jesse Johnson.
Banderas, for his part, was first married to Ana Leza from 1987 to 1996.

Banderas previously opened up about his dynamic with Griffith, telling People in 2018, “Even if we are divorced, she is my family and I will love her until the day I die. We have been in contact all these years and we managed to do a separation that is very elegant.”
He continued, “Our kids are enjoying that and that is very important for both of us. Our kids are priority No. 1.”
In 2020, Griffith also told People that she has a close relationship with all of her ex-husbands. “I love them with all my heart. Looking at the things you accumulate in your life has been really fun,” she gushed.
