Kelsea Ballerini does anything in the name of fashion.
Ballerini, 31, took to Instagram to share the reality of wearing uncomfortable — but cute — boots. The singer snapped an image of her ankles, which had blood gushing from them after spending a day frolicking in stylish kicks.
“What if the boots are not meant for walking after all,” Ballerini captioned the post, referencing Nancy Sinatra’s song, “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’.” Ballerini also posted the pic on her Instagram Story, captioning it: “Like, slay.”
While Ballerini didn’t share a pic of her boots, she has amassed quite a collection from her shows. Last month, she accepted a pair of custom shoes from her fan during one of her Live on Tour concerts.
In a clip shared via social media, Ballerini was seen kneeling down on stage as a fan, Dani Krapf, held up a pair of bedazzled cowgirl boots.
“You made these?” Ballerini asked.

“Yes! I bedazzled them with your name,” Krapf responded, pointing at her artwork. “Can you please take them? I made them for you. Please take them; they’re all for you!”
Ballerini then grabbed the shoes and held them to her chest, showing off the footwear for the rest of the audience to see. The boots featured a white body with her name adorned on the side.
The footwear came complete with Ballerini’s song titles, including “Penthouse” and “Patterns” along with pastel cowboy boot stitching.
Ballerini frequently wears leather stiletto boots on stage, as well as crystal-embellished silver shoes that attach to her catsuit. Last month, she showed off a golden pair of kicks while dancing around the stage in a metallic sequin minidress featuring a sheer silhouette and short sleeves.
Leave it to Ballerini to have an enviable shoe collection.
