Watch: Kim Da Mi, Son Suk Ku, And More Are Entangled In A Serial Murder Case In “Nine Puzzles” Teasers
Upcoming Disney+ series “Nine Puzzles” has unveiled new character teasers!
“Nine Puzzles” is a mystery thriller that follows the story of profiler Yoon Yi Na (Kim Da Mi), who was the only witness in an unsolved case from 10 years ago, and detective Kim Han Saem (Son Suk Ku), who still believes her to be a suspect, as they unearth the secrets of a new serial murder case that begins with a mysterious puzzle piece.
The newly released teaser video captures the tense and intertwined dynamics of four characters—Yoon Yi Na, Kim Han Saem, Yang Jeong Ho (Kim Sung Kyun), and Choi San (Hyun Bong Sik)—as they become entangled in a series of murders that have resumed alongside the puzzle piece.
First, we see Yi Na, who lost her memory after witnessing her uncle’s murder ten years ago, now returning as a profiler and a witness to the new string of serial killings.
Next, Han Saem, who constantly suspects Yi Na with a sharp gaze yet chooses to cooperate with her to solve the case, reveals his obsession and tenacity in pursuing the culprit. Furthermore, his fearless attitude—standing up to his superiors and speaking his mind for the sake of the investigation—hints at his unpredictable and bold actions to come.
Yang Jeong Ho, the head of the Violent Crimes Unit 2 at Hangang Police Station, shows his principled approach to investigations, focusing on hard evidence rather than mere suspicion as highlighted by his line, “So you’re saying there’s no solid evidence.”
Lastly, Choi San, the youngest member of the Violent Crimes Unit 2, brings unexpected charm and liveliness to the story by providing comic relief with his clumsiness and lack of seriousness even in tense situations.
