At the height of her popularity, Anna Kournikova was the most Googled female athlete in the world.
In fact, Kournikova, now 43, trailed only David Beckham as the most searched athlete overall in 2002, a year before her retirement from professional tennis at the young age of 21.

While Kournikova never won a professional singles title, she used her fame to secure deals with brands like K-Swiss, photo spreads in magazines like the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and Maxim and she was even the face of her own video game, “Anna Kournikova’s Smash Court Tennis,” which was released for the Playstation in Japan and Europe in 1998.
After appearing in the music video for his song “Escape” in 2001, Kournikova began dating Enrique Iglesias. Though the pair have never married, they remain together, residing in Miami, and have welcomed three children: twins Nicholas and Lucy, 7, and daughter Mary, 5.
