Kathy Hilton revealed where she stands with Garcelle Beauvais following the shocking conclusion of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ season 14 reunion.
“I just want her to know that she’s very loved and will be missed. And everybody was shocked,” Hilton, 66, told Too Fab in an interview published on Wednesday, May 21.
Garcelle stunned her costars and host Andy Cohen at the conclusion of the final part of the RHOBH season 14 reunion when she walked off set rather than take a group photo with her costars.
Cameras followed Garcelle back to her dressing room as she announced “I’m out” to her castmates. When Cohen called after her to take the cast photo, she insisted, “Nope. I’m not doing it.”
Before the reunion episodes aired, Garcelle announced via Instagram in March that she was quitting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons.
“I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills,” Garcelle, 58, revealed. “It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
With the dust now settled on Garcelle’s final RHOBH reunion, former castmate Kathy confirmed this week that the two have been in touch since filming wrapped.
“I love and adore her. I called her, obviously, right when I walked off the set from the reunion and talked to her,” she said.

Kathy went on, “And then we ended up having dinner with a friend like two days later. I tried to not bring up too much because I just want her to know that she’s very loved and will be missed. And everybody was shocked.”
RHOBH viewers saw Garcelle’s frustration building throughout the three-part reunion. The Coming 2 America actress even confessed in a backstage scene that she felt longtime friend Sutton Stracke didn’t have her back as she came under fire from Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John.
“I only came in at the tail end [of the reunion taping] because I’m not a full-time Housewife,” Kathy explained. “So I’m just at the last three hours of the reunion. And I didn’t see anything building up. I had no idea. So I was like, ‘oh my God.’”
“I haven’t asked [what caused Garcelle walking off set] because I just don’t want to push. We all can read all these things. But I think it’s everybody just assuming this or that.”
The third RHOBH reunion episode closed with Sutton trying to catch up with Garcelle in her dressing room, only to find Garcelle had already left the studio without telling her.
Since the reunion concluded, Sutton exclusively told Us Weekly that the whole RHOBH cast were “sort of in shock” over Garcelle’s abrupt exit from the show.
“Garcelle is a very strong woman so she’s going to make her decision and do what she’s going to do. I just want her to live her best life and be happy,” the Sutton Concept founder told Us.
Sutton stressed that she was “hopeful” of getting her friendship with Garcelle back on track after a rough patch on RHOBH this past season.
“I am just hoping that Garcelle is good and happy and on the path that she wants to be on, which I know she is,” she added.
When Garcelle announced she was leaving RHOBH in March, she largely avoided addressing beef with any costars. Instead, she said “one of the reasons” for exiting the Bravo show was to spend more time with her two youngest sons, twins Jaid and Jax, both 17, before they went off to college.
“Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that, and Jaid is starting a new career, and I want to be a part of that too,” she continued. “Secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting in. I can’t tell you anything right now, but you’ll know soon.”
All 14 seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are available to stream on Peacock.
