Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reemerged from their hiatus from the spotlight for a low-key date in Florida!!! — three exclamation points obviously required.
Swift and Kelce, both 35, were spotted having dinner at Harry’s restaurant in West Palm Beach on Friday, May 23, according to photos obtained by TMZ. The pop star wore an off-the-shoulder floral sundress with a black handbag, while Kelce opted for a leaf-printed button-down, khaki pants and a black baseball cap.
According to the outlet, Swift and Kelce were seen holding hands as they entered the establishment but reportedly kept the PDA to a minimum.
Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently relocated to the Sunshine State — temporarily — to start training for the upcoming 2025-2026 NFL season. He’s been renting a $20 million abode in Boca Raton, which is approximately 25 miles from downtown West Palm.
Swift, for her part, has been flying under the radar since ending her history-making Eras Tour and cheering on Kelce in the 2025 Super Bowl in February. (The Chiefs ultimately lost to the Philadelphia Eagles.)
“Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in a cover story last month. “They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”
In addition to enjoying their well-earned downtime, Swift and Kelce stepped out for a handful of vacations in the likes of New York, Montana and Utah.
“Travis wants to take [a breather] from the public eye,” a second source told Us in April. “He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted. He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor.”
Kelce has been dating the Grammy winner since summer 2023, shortly after he called her out on his “New Heights” podcast for not wanting to meet when he went to her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City. After hearing Kelce’s podcast pleas, Swift reached out, and the rest of their love story is history.
“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” she told TIME in a December 2023 profile, addressing her first appearance at his game the previous September. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
Swift kept stepping out at many of Kelce’s games, including back-to-back Super Bowls, all of which often stole attention and elicited criticism from football fans. No matter what, Swift has shaken off the haters.
“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she added to TIME. “I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once. “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
Kelce is equally proud of Swift, attending many of her Eras concerts and even organizing a post-tour party in December 2024.
