Park Ju Hyun And Park Yong Woo Lead Double Lives In New Drama “Hunter With A Scalpel”
Upcoming drama “Hunter with a Scalpel” has released new stills of Park Ju Hyun and Park Yong Woo!
“Hunter with a Scalpel” is a psychological crime thriller starring Park Ju Hyun as Seo Se Hyun, a brilliant but troubled forensic pathologist. One day, while conducting an autopsy, Se Hyun recognizes the signature murder method of her father—a serial killer who she thought had died 20 years ago—and sets out to find him before the police.
Seo Se Hyun (Park Ju Hyun) and her father, Yoon Jo Kyun (Park Yong Woo), each hide disturbing secrets behind their seemingly respectable lives. She is known as a gifted forensic pathologist, while he appears to be a polished, small-town dry cleaner. Their hidden truths create suspense as viewers question who they truly are.
Park Ju Hyun brings this duality to life in a series of striking stills. In the first set of images, Seo Se Hyun appears on a news talk show, radiating confidence and professionalism. Her calm demeanor and intelligent aura reflect her reputation as a seasoned expert who has solved numerous cases.
In contrast, another still reveals a darker side of the character. Her face is smeared with mysterious blood, and she wears an unsettling smile. Her cold, distant gaze adds an eeriness to the photo, casting doubt on whether she is truly the same cheerful professional seen earlier. What secrets is she carrying as someone raised by a serial killer?
Park Yong Woo delivers a similarly chilling contrast in his role as Yoon Jo Kyun. In the first images, he appears to be a warm, approachable figure, smiling gently as he plays the role of a kind neighborhood dry cleaner. His demeanor is so disarming that it’s nearly impossible to suspect the horrors he hides.
However, the next set of stills unveils his true nature. While still dressed neatly in a beige cardigan, his expression is emotionless, and his icy stare sends a chill. The difference between his public façade and his hidden darkness is stark, hinting at the terrifying depths of his character.
The opposing sides of these two characters—calm and rational in the light, instinctive and dangerous in the dark—set the stage for an unpredictable and gripping storyline. As the mystery of their real identities unfolds, viewers are left wondering how their secrets will impact one another and drive the drama forward.
“Hunter with a Scalpel” is set to premiere on June 16.
