Nina Dobrev can’t get enough of her engagement ring — and rightfully so.
Dobrev, 36, took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 27, to show off a close-up of her diamond ring from her fiancé Shaun White. In the pic, he held her hand while they dined at a popular restaurant in New York City, The Golden Swan. She gave the camera a look at her Lorraine Schwartz sparkler, featuring an elongated oval-cut diamond set on a classic yellow gold band.
Dobrev teamed her massive ring with a simple nude manicure finished with a short oval shape.
“Back at the ???? scene,” she captioned the pic, tagging White, 38.
After White proposed in October 2024, Lorel Diamonds jeweler Laura Taylor told Us Weekly that she estimated the ring to cost $220,000 to $270,000.
“The choice of elongated oval diamond is both modern and elegant, and it is often a popular choice thanks to its excellent brilliance and elongating effect on the hand,” she added.

Following their engagement, a source told Us Weekly that “Nina was totally surprised” by the proposal. “They’re both wildly happy,” the insider gushed.
When White popped the question, he told Dobrev that she was getting ready for a dinner hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. For the event, she wore a head-to-toe Chanel outfit featuring a glitter-flecked T-shirt dress and polka-dot tights.
For glam, Dobrev donned a full beat including dewy skin, long lashes and pink lips. Unknowing she was about to be proposed to, Dobrev took a risk and cut her own bangs that evening, and wore the rest of her brunette locks in a sleek blowout.
“RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé ????♾️,” she captioned the photos.
Dobrev and White started dating in 2019. They have not yet publicly shared a wedding date.
