Park Bo Gum And Kim So Hyun’s New Team Gets Into Trouble In “Good Boy”

JTBC’s “Good Boy” has shared a sneak peek of its upcoming second episode!

“Good Boy” is an action-comedy drama about a group of former national athletes who becomes police officers through a special recruit program. Swapping their medals for badges, they take on a world full of corruption, deception, and injustice.

The first episode of “Good Boy” introduced viewers to its new squad of athletes-turned-cops: former boxer Yoon Dong Joo (Park Bo Gum), former shooting athlete Ji Han Na (Kim So Hyun), former fencer Kim Jong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi), former wrestler Go Man SIk (Heo Sung Tae), and former discus athlete Shin Jae Hong (Tae Won Suk).

Although the five former athletes had been struggling with the miserable realities of their post-Olympic lives, their passion for justice was reawakened—and the premiere ended with a thrilling action sequence in which each of them used their skills from the past.

However, newly released stills from the drama’s second episode hint at the turbulence that awaits the cops. As soon as their special team is established, they immediately get into trouble. In contrast to the burning passion and excitement they displayed at the end of the first episode, Yoon Dong Joo’s fire has visibly cooled, while both Go Man Sik and Shin Jae Hong appear caught off guard and unsure of what to do.

Meanwhile, Ji Han Na—who has been dreaming of working in the field—is once again stuck posing unhappily in front of a camera.

“As soon as the special team is launched, they wind up causing trouble,” teased the “Good Boy” production team. “Rather than a grand return of heroes, the troublemaking special team will face reality.”
