Selling Sunset’s Chelsea Lazkani is clapping back at her body shamers.
“Trigger warning to myself: THIS was my previous weight, to those of u that keep commenting u miss ‘skinny Chelsea’ that was an unhappy, unhealthy person,” Lazkani, 32, wrote via X on Monday, June 2, alongside two photos that showed her wearing a tight pink dress circa 2023. “I did not know or see it. U only see the light once u are out of the dark. Ur comments will not allow me to revert bk to that.”
The real estate agent’s fans took to the comments section to applaud her message.
“Chelsea you are beautiful, brilliant, honest, caring…and that’s from what we got to see,” one X user remarked. “Thank you for being you and for striving always to put yourself first. As long as you are healthy and happy.”
Another gushed, “Ur always gorgeous Chelsea! Happy for u that u found joy again.”
Said another: “Thank you for being soo open about this.”
Lazkani made her Selling Sunset debut during season 5 in 2022. Last month she posted a snapshot showing off her curves in a gray gown, which sparked a big reaction in the comments section.
“Somehow the heart is more gorgeous than all this and that’s saying ALOT here,” said her Netflix costar Chrishell Stause.
One trollish follower left a harsher comment, writing, “One she looks different. Two is she pregnant,” which prompted someone else to opine: “Didn’t society teach us not to speculate pregnancy until it came from the actual source? ???? speculation is just as bad as asking a woman if they’re pregnant… .”
Over the weekend, Lazkani followed up that post with another post in which she bared her belly (and pierced belly button) while sporting a sexy white crop top and long white skirt during a night out.
“Stop patrolling women’s bodies, I’m just eating GOOD ????,” she wrote in a caption. “What should I cook next??”
Stause, 43, once again rushed to her friend’s defense.
“Some people are deeply unhappy and strange,” she commented. “Your beauty is timeless in any size????????????????.”
Lazkani celebrating her figure comes months after her divorce from ex Jeff Lazkani. In December 2024, Us Weekly confirmed that a California judge had declared the exes legally single. Chelsea had filed to end their seven-year marriage months earlier, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. At the time, Chelsea asked for spousal support and requested joint physical and legal custody of their two children, Maddox, 5, and Melia, 4.
Chelsea and Jeff met on Tinder in 2015 and tied the knot two years later. Following news of their divorce in March 2024, a source exclusively told Us that Chelsea believed Jeff was “unfaithful in their marriage.” (Us reached out to Jeff at the time.)
Their breakup was documented on season 8 of Selling Sunset, which aired that September. In a recent interview with Us, Lazkani admitted that she didn’t know how she “made it through” filming the show. “But being on the other side, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I am so glad to be here.’ Because I didn’t think I’d be here at all, to be honest.”
