Kristin Cavallari‘s kids have some hilarious thoughts about the future of her love life.
The Laguna Beach alum, 38, sat down with her and her ex-husband Jay Cutler’s three kids — sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 11, and daughter Saylor, 9 — on the Tuesday, June 3, episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. While chatting about their summer plans, Camden shared his excitement over Cavallari throwing the first pitch at an upcoming Chicago Cubs baseball game.
“PCA, I hope that you see this. I love you,” Camden said, referring to player Pete Crow-Armstrong. While Jaxon asked his brother how old the outfielder was (Crow-Armstrong is 23), Cavallari stated, “Hopefully, we’ll meet him when we’re there for the [game].”
Following his mom’s comment, Camden made a confused face and turned to his younger brother, who pointed to Cavallari and seemingly stated, “For mom.”
“Why, for me?” a surprised Cavallari asked her kids before stating, “You know, we’re not going younger again.”
Jaxon hilariously responded, “Yeah, OK.”
Cavallari doubled down on her promise, adding, “No, honestly, I’ve been good about that. I haven’t really been dating at all. But if I were to, and when I do, I will not be going younger. I promise you, that was a one-time thing. It was. I like that you’re looking out, though, Jaxon.”

The discussion was in reference to her past relationship with TikTok star Mark Estes, who is 13 years her junior. After Cavallari spotted Estes on social media, the pair sparked a romantic connection and made their relationship Instagram official in February 2024.
“Me dating a 24-year-old is not something that I was searching out. It’s not something that I at all ever thought would ever happen,” Cavallari said on her podcast the following month. “I understand what it looks like to the outside world. I really do. I get that. He is not a typical 24-year-old.”
At the time, Cavallari noted that her kids were “big fans” of Estes, stating, “I think, more than anything, my kids are really excited for me.”
Estes joined Cavallari and her children on a family vacation in June 2024 before calling it quits three months later.
Cavallari revealed she had moved on with a professional athlete in December 2024 but did not reveal his identity as former NHL star Nate Thompson until after they had already split. “I really think he’s such a great guy,” she revealed on an April episode of her podcast.
In another April podcast episode, Cavallari clarified that longtime rumors that she and Chris Evans dated were “not true.” She told listeners, “Chris Evans and I had a similar friend group, and I think that we were at an event one night as a group, like, there was a group of us there. We saw each other socially.”
Cavallari noted that she and the Marvel star, 43, “never dated” and never went on any dates. “Literally, nothing ever happened. And there’s been these rumors for years that we dated. Well, we never dated,” she said.
