Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s daughter, Gracie McGraw, publicly revealed that she is queer.
Gracie, 28, took to social media on Monday, June 2, to share a celebratory post in honor of Pride Month 2025, which lasts all of June, that read “Everyone get more gay now,” with multiple exclamation points.
“Happy Freaking Pride,” Gracie wrote via her Instagram Story. “I love being queer.”
This is the first time Gracie has publicly addressed her sexuality. Tim, 58, and Hill, 57, have yet to publicly react. However, Hill has publicly supported the LGBTQIA+ community in the past, including when fellow country singer Chely Wright came out.
Gracie is the eldest daughter of the country music legends. In addition to Gracie, the couple, who tied the knot in 1996, also share daughters Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 23.
Earlier this year, Tim took to social media to pay tribute to Gracie in honor of her birthday.
“Can’t believe this little bit turns 28 today! Happy birthday to our Gracie! You are a light in this world my sweet girl,” the Grammy winner wrote via Instagram in May alongside a throwback snap of him and his daughter. “So much heart, soul, respect and yes LOADS of talent!!! We hope you have the best day ever and know that you are loved beyond measure! I love you my little girl.”
Like her parents, Gracie has followed in their musical footsteps. She previously showed off her talent when she posted a cover of Barbra Streisand and Barry Gibb’s “What Kind of Fool” via her dad’s Instagram in August 2019.
“PIPES!!!!!! …… Dang, this girl can sing!” Tim captioned the post.
In addition to singing, Gracie also acts. Earlier this year she was cast in The Great War & The Great Gatsby at Carnegie Hall and took the stage in April. Both of her parents were in attendance on opening night.
Gracie isn’t the only one of her siblings who inherited their parents’ pipes. Both Maggie and Audrey also sing. Audrey was announced as the opening act for Brandi Carlisle’s upcoming The Lost Time tour.
Tim previously teased that his daughters prefer to sing with their mom over him.
“I’d love to do a song with all five of us at some point. I talk about it all the time and they’re like, ‘I ain’t singing with you, Dad,’” Tim said in an August 2023 interview with Entertainment Tonight. “They’ll sing with mom, but I’m probably not up to par with the rest of them. I’m the worst singer in the family.”
