Rosé Ties Billboard Hot 100 Record For 2nd Longest-Charting Song By K-Pop Artist

BLACKPINK’s Rosé continues her impressive run on the Billboard charts!

On June 3 local time, Billboard revealed that Rosé and Bruno Mars’ smash hit “APT.” had climbed back up to No. 22 in its 32nd consecutive week on the Hot 100 (Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States).

“APT.” has now tied the record for the second longest-charting song by a K-pop artist on the Hot 100, matching the 32 weeks achieved by BTS’s 2020 hit “Dynamite.” To date, the only song by a K-pop act to spend more weeks on the Hot 100 is BTS’s Jimin’s “Who,” which charted for a total of 33 weeks.

Meanwhile, Rosé’s solo album “rosie” has become the first album by a female K-pop soloist ever to spend 25 weeks on the Billboard 200, where it ranked No. 168 this week.

“APT.” also held onto its spot at No. 3 on both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. chart, in addition to rising to No. 18 on the Digital Song Sales chart and re-entering the Streaming Songs chart at No. 35. Meanwhile, Rosé’s song “Messy” (from the soundtrack of “F1 The Movie”) ranked No. 187 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 198 on the Global 200.

Finally, “APT.” took No. 23 on Billboard’s Radio Songs chart (formerly Hot 100 Airplay), which ranks each week’s most popular songs by airplay on U.S. radio stations across all musical genres.
