Seohyun And Taecyeon Lock Eyes Moments Before Their First Kiss In “The First Night With The Duke”
KBS2’s upcoming drama “The First Night With the Duke” has amped up anticipation with new stills that highlight the magnetic tension between its two leads!
“The First Night with the Duke” is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).
Cha Sun Chaek was originally a background character with little to no presence. But everything changes when the soul of an avid reader—a real-life college student known as K—is suddenly transported into her body. From that moment on, she becomes deeply entangled with the novel’s male lead, Yi Beon. Captivated by the woman who took his first night, Yi Beon falls head over heels and charges forward in a romance that completely derails the original plot.
The newly released stills capture the electrifying moment of their fateful night—an encounter that alters everything. Alone together in a hidden space, Cha Sun Chaek and Yi Beon lock eyes at a dangerously close distance, their gazes filled with charged emotion. The barely-there space between them creates palpable tension, heightening the drama.
Moreover, the drama teases that this is the moment just before their first kiss—a kiss that is set to rewrite both of their destinies.
Other stills offer a playful contrast: Cha Sun Chaek wears a cheeky smile, while Yi Beon looks on with a meaningful gaze. Their unpredictable chemistry hints at a wild, unfiltered romance that keeps viewers guessing where their story will lead next.
“The First Night with the Duke” premieres on June 11 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
