Cho Yi Hyun And Choo Young Woo Are Brought Back Together By Fate In New Drama “Head Over Heels”
tvN’s upcoming drama “Head Over Heels” has teased the chemistry between Cho Yi Hyun and Choo Young Woo!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Head Over Heels” is a fantasy romance about a boy who is fated to die and the young shaman who tries to rescue him from his fate. Cho Yi Hyun stars as Park Seong A, a high school student who leads a double life as a shaman by night. Choo Young Woo plays her first love Bae Gyeon U, who is plagued by bad luck and was born with the misfortune of a predestined death.
Newly released stills build excitement by highlighting the evolving relationship between Park Seong A and Bae Gyeon U. Seong A falls for Gyeon U at first sight when he unexpectedly enters her shrine, carrying the weight of a fatal destiny. Her radiant smile during their reunion at school after his transfer adds charm, while Gyeon U’s cold stare and guarded attitude spark curiosity about their first meeting.
A heart-pounding moment between Park Seong A and Gyeon U hints at a turning point in their relationship. Gyeon U’s subtle, conflicted gaze draws attention, and their intense eye contact—so close that it seems they might kiss at any moment—adds a spark of tension sure to set viewers’ hearts racing.
Another still captures a playful yet dramatic moment as Gyeon U is caught off guard by Park Seong A’s bold wall slam. His surprised reaction, covering his mouth in shock, contrasts with Seong A’s confident stare, adding to the romantic tension. Viewers are curious to find out whether Seong A, who calls herself a “human talisman” determined to protect her first love, and Gyeon U, who once kept his distance to avoid bringing misfortune to others, will be able to fight fate and hold on to their love.
About their first reunion since the drama “School 2021,” Cho Yi Hyun said, “Reuniting with actor Choo Young Woo after we’ve both grown gave me a lot of motivation,” building excitement for their on-screen chemistry.
Choo Young Woo also said, “Having both grown, it was a joy and a little surreal to work with actress Cho Yi Hyun again. She was a great source of support on set, which made filming much more comfortable.”
