Upcoming film “Ghost Train” has offered a deeper look into Joo Hyun Young’s character!

“Ghost Train” is a mystery horror film starring Joo Hyun Young as Da Kyung, a horror YouTuber desperate for views. While investigating the secrets of Gwanglim Station, where mysterious disappearances have been occurring one after another, Da Kyung winds up encountering something horrifying.

Joo Hyun Young, who has built her reputation as a rising star and Gen Z icon through standout performances in “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract,” “Behind Every Star,” and “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” takes on a fresh challenge through her first leading role in a feature film.

Da Kyung is a character who stumbles upon the eerie Gwanglim Station while searching for content to boost her channel’s views. The station is infamous for having the highest number of missing person cases in the country. As she digs into its secrets, she uncovers a chilling truth.

Joo Hyun Young, known for fully immersing herself in every role with sharp attention to detail, is expected to showcase a wide range of charms, from the passionate drive of a YouTuber chasing a comeback to the icy presence of a true horror queen.

Director Tak Se Woong praised Joo Hyun Young’s dedication to her craft, saying, “Joo Hyun Young didn’t just play Da Kyung—she became her. She always showed up completely prepared and well-versed in the script. She even created the gestures for ‘Horror Queen Da Kyung’ herself.”

“Ghost Train” will hit theaters on July 2.
