Sharna Burgess loves being a part of “an unbelievably big family and tribe,” which includes her son with fiancé Brian Austin Green, the actor’s children with exes Megan Fox and Vanessa Marcil, and Fox’s baby girl with ex-fiancé Machine Gun Kelly.
“Of course he’s met her — that’s his baby sister,” Burgess told People in an interview published on Wednesday, June 11, of her son Zane’s meetup with Fox and MGK’s daughter, who was born in March. “They’re deeply in love. She is the absolute cutest thing, and it’s really beautiful.”
Burgess, 39, and Green, 51 — who’ve been together since December 2020 — share Zane, 3. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum also shares son Kassius, 23, with Marcil, 56, and children Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, with ex-wife Fox, 39, whom he split from in May 2020.
Fox and MGK, 35, met on the set Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020 and got engaged in 2022 before quietly splitting in November 2024 while Fox was still pregnant. He also has an older daughter, Casie, 15, with ex Emma Cannon.
Burgess said it’s heartwarming to watch all the kids grow up together and to see Zane bond with his older siblings.
“He has such a big, beautiful tribe around him, and it’s really cool,” she explained of her son and their blended family. “We’re all so very lucky. The kids are amazing and they’ve become built-in babysitters. The age gap actually works really well. We’re thrilled.”
Burgess added of her extended family, “When I was a kid, and even when I was manifesting my life, I wanted a big family. And then I got to a point where I thought, ‘Maybe I’ll only get to have one baby because of age, ovaries, you know, all the things.’ But somehow the universe still provided this unbelievably big family and tribe with amazing kids in it.”
As for whether or not there will be more babies joining the brood in the future, Burgess told People she and Green hope to have another little one.
“We’ve talked about getting pregnant at some point next year,” the Dancing With the Stars pro admitted. “I like the idea of an age gap of around four to five years between siblings, so hopefully we can make that happen.”
The couple plan to use in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive since Green had a vasectomy.
“He was amazing,” Burgess said of Green’s decision to undergo the routine medical procedure. “He knew that birth control made me feel crazy, so he said, ‘Let me handle it.’ He got a vasectomy, but we always knew we could do IVF or freeze sperm. It was never ‘no more babies.’ It was just about protecting my health. So yes, IVF is most likely the route we’ll take.”
Burgess hopes to have another baby by the time she and Green walk down the aisle.
“We are definitely going to get married. But I don’t want to be pregnant or in postpartum when we do. I’d love to have that next baby and maybe even have them carried down the aisle,” she said. “I want our whole family there. And it feels like we’re still waiting for one more to arrive.”
