Jennie Garth was shocked to learn that ex-husband Peter Facinelli was seeking someone around daughter Luca Bella Facinelli’s age on the dating app Raya.
“My ex-husband Peter, I was told, was on Raya, and his age, whatever range, that he was looking for was also the age range of his oldest daughter,” Garth, 53, said on the Thursday, June 12, episode of the “I Do, Part 2” podcast with Jana Kramer and guest J.P. Rosenbaum.
Garth said that Luca, 27, “came across” her father’s profile on the app.
Garth shares Luca and daughters Lola, 22, and Fiona, 18, with Facinelli, 51. He is also a dad of 2-year-old son Jack with wife Lily Anne Harrison.
Fiona joined Garth on Thursday’s episode of her “I Choose Me” podcast, where they called Facinelli to talk about Fiona’s high school graduation.
“I feel very numb,” the Twilight actor said of how it felt to see his youngest daughter graduate. “Honestly, it’s been a very numbing experience. Yeah. I don’t know if it’s all hit me yet.”
“You know, you’re our baby, so you’re all growing up and it’s a whole new chapter,” he continued. “And I feel like I don’t know how to feel. I really feel like I haven’t fully experienced all the emotions.”
Facinelli then said that he wanted to check in with Fiona to see how she feels after hitting such a huge milestone in her life.

“Are you feeling like lost? Are you feeling, like, excited? Are you feeling sad? I mean, I think it also triggers a lot of emotions. You know, when I finish a chapter, you kind of feel a little numb,” he said adding that he has gone through periods of not knowing what’s next in life.
However, Fiona said that she feels “really great” and “happy.”
“Honestly, it feels like I’m just so happy that I don’t have to go back to high school,” she responded. “I feel a little numb too, like, definitely hasn’t set in that I’m not going back, you know, like when summer ends. But I am actually really happy and I feel like kind of just at peace.”
“It’s really nice, like, waking up and not feeling stressed to do anything, like just kind of having a moment to just kind of regenerate,” she continued. “And it’s different from most summers because usually when school ends for that year, you always think about, oh, I’m going back and I have like summer reading to do.”
Fiona concluded, “But right now, I just feel like I’m moving on to the next thing, and although change feels scary a little bit, like, I don’t really know what to expect. I feel like it’s going to be good.”
Garth and Fiona had called Facinelli while he was in the shower, and he candidly told them that he was “naked and dripping wet.”
“Phew, that’s a visual for our listeners,” Garth joked, adding she now had to go “scrub my eyeballs.”
Garth and Facinelli, who got divorced in 2013, reunited at Fiona’s graduation from Notre Dame High School in early June. The 90210 actress, who married Dave Abrams in 2015, took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion.
“I am so beyond proud of her. My heart is filled with so much excitement to see her fly!” she captioned photos and videos from the event.
Last year, Garth and Facinelli discussed how their coparenting dynamic has evolved in the years following their split.
“We haven’t really spoken a lot about life stuff in years, so I honestly don’t know you and I don’t think you know me,” Facinelli said on the “I Choose Me” podcast. “And yet, it’s like when you go home and you’re with your mom or your dad or, you know, your sisters and they just treat you like you’re 16, 17, 18, like, you know the time they saw you last when you were younger, and so there’s this feeling of like, ‘Oh, I know her because we were together for so long, but you’ve grown into this mature, wonderful adult woman and I’ve grown.’”
