Todd Chrisley is returning to social media to celebrate the people who matter to him the most.
In his first Instagram post since being released from prison, the Chrisley Knows Best star celebrated his son Grayson Chrisley’s latest milestone in college.
“God is good all the time, @graysonchrisley,” Todd, 56, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, June 12. “I love you to the moon and back and we couldn’t be more proud. You have shown great character and fortitude and stood with your lord and savior amidst the fire and came out the other side never smelling of smoke, you are proof of God’s word.”
In his post, Todd — who is also dad to Lindsie, 35, and Kyle, 32, with ex Theresa Terry as well as Chase, 29, Savannah, 27, and Chloe, 12, with wife Julie Chrisley — shared an announcement from the University of Alabama that confirmed Grayson, 19, made it on the dean’s list for the spring semester.
“A total of 14,289 students enrolled during Spring Semester 2025 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above),” the announcement read. “These driven students are making waves across UA’s more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools.”
In his message to Grayson, Todd shared some pieces of advice he hopes his youngest son follows as he continues his college education.
“Stand tall, stand true and stand for your fellow brothers in Christ,” he wrote via Instagram. “I love you Gray Gray.”

Grayson appeared to be celebrating the end of another semester on Thursday by traveling to the U.S. Open at the Oakmont Country Club in Texas.
Taking to his Instagram Story, Grayson shared a glimpse into his summer day by writing, “Big day to be a golf course when @Bkoepka gets hot.”
It’s been a season of change for the Chrisley family ever since Todd and Julie were pardoned by President Donald Trump in their ongoing bank fraud and tax evasion case last month.
Just days after being released from prison and reuniting with his family, Todd spoke out about his experience in a press conference with his daughter, Savannah.
“I want to thank first and foremost my lord and savior because that’s who got me through it,” he told reporters on May 30. “[Savannah] has fought a long fight and for any parent to see their child fight this hard, it’s a double-edged sword. It’s a blessing and then your heart breaks because your child has been placed in that position. … I will always be grateful to [Savannah] from the bottom of my heart.”
Todd maintained his innocence, saying, “I was convicted of something that I did not do,” and vowed to fight for injustice in the prison system.
“I have listened to some horrific stories about things that have gone on in our system,” he shared. “I will continue to fight for all the guys that I dealt with and that I was blessed to be with.”
