Erika Jayne is clearing the air about the swirling rumors that she had a fling with Summer House star Jesse Solomon.
“First of all, no, the alleged hookup would have taken place, they said at Watch What Happens Live in New York City after upfronts,” Erika, 53, said on the Friday, June 13, episode of her and Teddi Mellencamp’s “Diamonds in the Rough” podcast. “I was at home.”
While Erika denied hooking up with Jesse, 31, after their joint WWHL taping, she did admit to “flirting with two men” during the NBCUniversal event. (Jesse has not publicly addressed the speculation.)
“Would I have preferred to take two home instead of one? Yeah,” Erika quipped, alleging she also flirted with Jesse’s costar Carl Radke. “My point is, like, [for] once in a decade, I actually talked to people that we work with because I’m such a bitch every other time.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star noted that she usually skips Bravo events, but she is now “trying to do more social things.”
Teddi, 43, defended her pal’s flirtatious banter, noting that both Jesse and Carl, 40, are handsome.
“They’re both cute, but the taller one is cuter,” Erika said. When Teddi speculated that the “taller one” likely wasn’t “good in bed,” Erika replied, “Who cares? It’s not my problem.”
She continued, “I wish I had something [more] exciting to tell you, but I don’t. What I do have to tell you is that my London shows were probably better than any sex you could ever have. Very good.”
Erika recently returned from England, where she performed a series of headlining concerts.
“I had the best time of my life,” she said. “The best part is that I felt completely free and just, like, I was 3 years old. I was just in a really great place — and then 10 minutes before the second show, I get the news that Tom [Girardi] is being sent to prison.”
Erika was previously married to Tom, now 86, from 2000 to 2020. She filed for divorce just before he was indicted for wire fraud. The disgraced attorney was found guilty during a trial and recently sentenced to seven years and three months in prison. He was also ordered to pay more than $2 million in restitution to the victims.
“I was very disappointed because those people [in the audience] were there for me and I felt like five percent of myself was feeling sorry for myself,” Erika said on Friday, breaking her silence on Tom’s sentencing. “I was 95 percent there and five percent of myself was feeling sorry for myself.”
