Scott Opened Up About ‘Family Challenges’ Before the SplitFive months before his divorce filing, Scott exclusively told Us Weekly about the “challenges” that he and Kelley, who share kids Jackson, Miller and Lucy, have faced in recent years.
“The last few years have presented life in a way that we hadn’t experienced before,” he said. “These are not life and death issues, but reframing issues, things that have, kind of, challenges, and watching our family go through things that have presented challenges … to find our way through in ways that have changed the way I see happiness.”
He continued, “My family’s been through some stuff over the past few years. This period of time has been weird for a lot of people. And we sort of got blown in the wind a little bit, moved around a bunch, and [I] watched my children deal with all of that.”
However, he also praised Kelley as a communicative partner.
“She’s a life coach, and I mean, she is of the highest order. She is, like, a seer and a holder of light and love,” he continued. “She’s always known when we need to talk, when we need to clear something. And I think for a lot of people, if that communication is tricky or hard or just isn’t maintained, then things can just become something, even though they don’t necessarily deserve to be something.”
Kelley Announces Their DivorceKelley announced their plans to divorce in a statement via Instagram on June 10, 2025, which was accompanied by an image of a lion and three birds in a field.
“It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage,” she wrote. “This has been a long, quiet journey for me — rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children. While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I’ve done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion.””
Kelley added of her estranged husband, “Scott Wolf is one of the best fathers I’ve ever known and one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with. He is kind, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful in spirit. We both look forward to an extraordinary life centered around the most extraordinary children.”

The life coach added that her “priority” is her children’s “wellbeing,” as well as her “own healing.”
“That will never change. I am stepping into a chapter of peace, freedom, and protection — with grace. Thank you to the many friends, family, and professionals who have held space for me with love,” she concluded. “Please respect our privacy during this time. May we all remember: healing isn’t loud. It’s sacred. ????.”
Scott Files for DivorceScott broke his silence on the divorce the following day, sharing a statement to People.
“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” he said. “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
Scott filed for divorce in Utah on June 9, 2025, according to court records viewed by Us Weekly. Along with the divorce paperwork, he filed a “proposed parenting plan,” which is sealed.
Kelley Was Seemingly Detained by Police for ‘Concerning’ CommentsKelley uploaded an alarming audio clip to her Instagram on June 13, 2025, in which she seemingly argued with police officers about turning off her camera.
“This is not happening,” a voice, presumably Kelley’s, said. “Fine, I’ll go on my own. Wow, this is shameful.”
Officers could seemingly be heard placing handcuffs on Kelley in the background.
“Look at this woman,” Kelley continued. “This is shameful. Be ashamed of yourself, gentleman. I know what I’m doing; this is my job. Shame on all of you.”
One of the law enforcement officers could also be heard saying that Kelley had “made some comments” about her father and others that were allegedly “concerning.”

Kelley told the police, “I didn’t mean to. I think Scott Wolf is abusing me, and now you are abusing me more.”
Kelley turned the camera to reveal that her hands were behind her back.
The police denied that they were in contact with Scott, who has yet to address Kelley’s allegations. Us Weekly reached out for comment.
Kelley then took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of what appeared to be a police holding room, with a purse, a Gatorade bottle and a baseball cap sitting in front of her.
“This is horrible. I have been taken against my will,” she wrote. “Please check on my kids. Also … I am happy! Happier than I’ve ever been. I have NO IDEA why or how this is happening in AMERICA.”
Kelley added that she was being “compliant, calm and respectful.”
“Hopefully, this is all sorted very quickly,” she wrote. “In the meantime, be kind to each other. This is one of the darkest things I’ve ever experienced.”
It’s unclear whether Kelley was formally arrested. Us reached out to the local sheriff’s department for comment.
