Watch: Cho Yi Hyun Flusters Choo Young Woo While Secretly Trying To Save His Life In Trailer For “Head Over Heels”
tvN’s upcoming drama “Head Over Heels” has released its main trailer!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Head Over Heels” is a fantasy romance about a boy who is fated to die and the young shaman who tries to rescue him from his fate. Cho Yi Hyun will star as Park Seong A, a high school student who leads a double life as a shaman by night. Choo Young Woo will play her first love Bae Gyeon U, who is plagued by bad luck and was born with the misfortune of a predestined death.
The new trailer begins with the smitten Seong A watching Gyeon U practice archery. As her heart skips a beat, she exclaims, “He’s so cool.” Then, just as she says, “People who walk upside down are people who will die soon because of bad luck,” Gyeon U ominously walks into her temple upside down. After learning that the ill-fated Gyeon U has only 21 days left to live, Seong A exclaims with a determined expression, “I’ll save you.”
However, Seong A faces a major obstacle in her quest to save Gyeon U’s life: she is hiding the fact that she is a shaman at school, and so Gyeon U has no clue about her secret identity. When she throws herself at him to rescue him from a falling sign and douses him with water while trying to chase away a dangerous water spirit, Gyeon U has no idea what to make of her.
But even though Gyeon U tries to keep his distance from Seong A, she remains dead set on becoming his “human talisman” to protect him from evil. The closer she sticks to him, the more effective her warding powers are, so Seong A boldly grabs Gyeon U’s hand and jumps into his arms—flustering the confused Gyeon U.
Later, a frustrated Seong A confesses her feelings to Gyeon U by saying, “I don’t want to fool you either. The only thing I want to do with you is love you.” Finally, the trailer ends with a client embarrassing shaman Seong A by perceptively asking her, “You’ve never dated before, right? You’ve always been single?”
