Lorenzo Lamas is head over heels for girlfriend Heather Locklear.
“I’ve been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I’ve ever met,” the Falcon Crest alum, 68, told Fox News Digital in an interview published on Wednesday, April 29.
Lamas and Locklear, 64, first crossed paths while posing for a 1983 cover of Playgirl magazine. The two actors were at the height of their careers at the time, with Locklear starring on Dynasty and Lamas appearing in Falcon Crest. Their steamy joint photo shoot featured the Melrose Place actress in a bikini and the film producer in a Speedo.
The pair reconnected more than 40 years later, sparking romance rumors in early April when TMZ published photos of Locklear and Lamas spending New Year’s Eve together in Las Vegas. Lamas’ rep then confirmed the couple’s romance to Us Weekly on April 10.
When asked on Wednesday if Lamas ever expected his relationship with Locklear to come full circle, the Renegade star responded, “The short answer is no.”
Lamas and Locklear made their first public appearance as a confirmed couple at the 2026 Chiller Theatre Expo, a horror and sci-fi convention, in New Jersey on Sunday, April 26. They both wore black ensembles as Locklear leaned into Lamas’ chest and wrapped her arms around his waist.
The relationship comes nearly one year after Us exclusively confirmed in May 2025 that Locklear was single. At the time, multiple sources told Us that she had split from fiancé Chris Heisser following their June 2020 engagement.
“Heather is single and she’s ready to date again,” an insider said, adding that she was “focusing on herself” and “doing really well.”
Before her relationship with Heisser, who was Locklear’s high school sweetheart before they reconnected in 2020, the Spin City star was married to Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993. She later tied the knot with Richie Sambora in 1994. The now-exes welcomed daughter Ava, 28, before their split in 2007.
Locklear was also briefly engaged to her Melrose Place costar Jack Wagner in 2011.
Meanwhile, Lamas has been married six times. He first tied the knot with Victoria Hilbert in 1981. The pair split the following year.

Lamas was later married to late ex-wife Michele Smith, with whom he shared kids A.J., 42, and Shayne, 40, from 1983 to 1985. He later moved on with Kathleen Kinmont, whom he married in 1989. The exes divorced in 1993.
Lamas’ fourth wife was Shauna Sand from 1996 to 2002. They share kids Alexandra, 28, Victoria, 27, and Isabella, 25. The Snake Eater star was then married to Shawna Craig from 2011 to 2018 and Kenna Scott from 2023 to 2025.
Lamas also shares daughter Paton, 37, with ex Daphne Ashbrook, whom he dated from 1986 to 1988.
