How Long Does Each Draft Pick Take in the NFL Draft?Longtime fans know that the timing changes with each round. There are seven rounds in the NFL Draft, and the first round is allocated the most time at eight minutes. Each subsequent round gets less and less time until the draft ends.

This year’s draft selection is scheduled to take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
